  If you have a COA grant to support a program or event taking place during this time of increased concern, be aware that COA will allow you to postpone and reschedule, and will if necessary extend the grant project period. Be sure to contact your program manager via email to alert them to the change.

  These guidelines outline what is required of applicants by law and will help applicants understand the requirements before entering the COA funding process.

• Arts Workforce Initiative

  The Arts Workforce Initiative (AWI) provides hands-on work experience in the arts to diverse, traditionally underrepresented individuals throughout the State of Connecticut.

  An Unique Entity ID (UEI) is required to recieve federal awards.

• Elizabeth L. Mahaffey Arts Administration Fellowship - Now Accepting Applications!

  The Mahaffey Fellowship provides funding to individuals to pursue professional development opportunities that will advance their careers in arts administration.

• Final Reports

  All grant recipients are required to submit a final report to the Connecticut Office of the Arts.

• Empower Grant Initiative

  Support for small and medium-sized arts organizations that represent the diverse cultural expressions of all Connecticut state residents. The Connecticut Office of the Arts provides self-determined capacity building support to help grow organizations that have yet to receive meaningful levels of support.

• Supporting Arts Grant Program

  The Supporting Arts grant program is currently closed.

• Artist Fellowship Program

  Provides recognition and funding support for CT artists to pursue new work and advance their artisitc careers.

• Strategic Partnership Grants

  Invests COA resources in specific, values driven initiatives to accomplish priority goals defined in its strategic plan.

• Artists Respond

  Project funding for Connecticut artists to support community-based art projects that respond to social issues or current events.
