ATTENTION: The parking lots at Sessions Woods WMA will be CLOSED to all vehicles on Tuesday, April 22 through Wednesday, April 23, 2025, for repairs and line painting. No public parking is allowed while work is ongoing.
January 30, 2025: The DEEP Wildlife Division is initiating a wild turkey research project in 2025. Staff biologists are seeking observations of wild turkeys for the purposes of live-trapping birds to research hen, nest, and poult survival, harvest rate, and disease prevalence. Please submit your wild turkey sightings.
August 18, 2024, Flooding Event: Keep up to date on any related closures of State Parks, Forests, and Wildlife Management Areas due to flood damage.
