• DAS Procurement Contract Extension Pursuant to Connecticut General Statutes Section 4a-59a

  Connecticut General Statute 4a-59a(c) requires that the Department of Administrative Services post an explanation of all contracts extended in accordance with CGS 4a-59a(b).

• DAS Procurement State Contracting Portal for Solicitations

  The State Contracting Portal enables companies to find business opportunities with the Connecticut State Agencies.

• DAS Procurement Fuel and Dairy Contract Pricing

  The DAS/Procurement Division utilizes market indices for several of our key contracts, including the fuel contracts and dairy contracts.

• Uniform Licensing Application

  The Uniform Licensing Application helps improve the efficiency of the licensing process by consolidating the procedures and eliminating unnecessary duplication of documents submitted for licensing purposes.

• Resident Bidder Program

  Multi-Agency program to study in-state contracting preferences and to submit a report to the Governor and the legislature’s Labor Committee.

• Building and Fire Code Modifications, Exemptions and Waivers

  The Office of the State Building Inspector and the Office of the State Fire Marshal review requests for modifications to the State Building Code and State Fire Safety Code, as well as the codes and regulations that apply to elevators and boilers etc.

• State Building Code Interpretations

  The State Building Inspector issues formal interpretations of the State Building Code pursuant to the authority granted by Section 29-252 of the Connecticut General Statutes. These interpretations may be issued at the request of a local building official or by the general public. The final interpretations are the opinion of the State Building Inspector.
