Friday: Gov. Malloy and Lt. Gov. Wyman Lead Grand Opening Ceremony of CTfastrak Bus Rapid Transit System
On Friday afternoon, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will lead the grand opening ceremony to mark the beginning of service on CTfastrak - Connecticut's first-ever bus rapid transit system serving Central Connecticut. He will be joined at the event by Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman, Acting Federal Transit Administrator Therese McMillan, Department of Transportation Commissioner James Redeker, U.S. Representative Elizabeth Esty, New Britain Mayor Erin Stewart, and other state and local officials.

Friday: Gov. Malloy Participates In True Colors Conference; Speaks With Hamden Chamber
On Friday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will make welcoming remarks at the True Colors 22nd annual conference in Storrs. The event is the largest LGBTQIA youth conference in the country, bringing together social service agencies, schools, organizations, and communities together to ensure that the needs of sexual and gender minority youth are both recognized and competently met.

Gov. Malloy Announces Funds to Support Affordable Housing Throughout the State
Governor Dannel P. Malloy, Department of Housing (DOH) Commissioner and Connecticut Housing Finance Authority (CHFA) Board Chairman Evonne M. Klein today announced investments of more than $60 million in funding for 14 affordable housing projects across the state. The projects will build and rehabilitate 851 affordable apartments and 246 market-rate units.

Gov. Malloy: With Launch of CTfastrak this Weekend, CTtransit Bus Service Will Now Operate on Sundays in Bristol, New Britain and Waterbury
Governor Dannel P. Malloy and Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) Commissioner James P. Redeker today announced that CTtransit bus service will now offer new Sunday service in Bristol, New Britain and Waterbury, beginning this Sunday, March 29, 2015. The additional service, which will also run on all major holidays - including the upcoming Easter holiday on Sunday, April 5, 2015 - coincides with the launch of the CTfastrak bus rapid transit system this weekend.
