• Next Generation Accountability System

  Connecticut’s Next Generation Accountability System is a broad set of 12 indicators that help tell the story of how well a school is preparing its students for success in college, careers and life.

• National Blue Ribbon Schools

  Annually, the U.S. Department of Education identifies National Blue Ribbon Schools based on nominations from state education agencies.

• Schools of Distinction 2015-2016

  The CSDE is recognizing 116 Schools of Distinction according to the following criteria: 1) Highest Performing, 2) Highest Growth, and 3) Greatest Improvers.

• EdSight

  EdSight is CSDE’s data portal that provides detailed information about schools and districts and offers information on key performance measures that make up Connecticut’s Next Generation Accountability System.
