  Connecticut consumers will benefit from more than $63 million in improvements and investments in broadband Internet capabilities in the state under the agreement approved today granting final approval of Frontier Communications Corporation's purchase of AT&T's Connecticut wireline operations, Governor Dannel P.   Attorney General George Jepsen and state Department of Consumer Protection (DCP) Commissioner William M. Rubenstein announced today that Connecticut, along with 49 other states and the District of Columbia, has reached a settlement with mobile telephone company T-Mobile USA to resolve allegations that the company improperly engaged in "data cramming."

• State Joins $3.8 Million Multistate Settlement with Sirius XM Radio

  Attorney General George Jepsen and the state Department of Consumer Protection Commissioner William M. Rubenstein today announced that Connecticut has joined 44 other states in a $3.8 million settlement with Sirius XM Radio Inc. that resolves claims that the satellite radio company engaged in misleading advertising and billing practices.

• State of Connecticut and Federal Trade Commission File Federal Complaint, Consent Order against TicketNetwork, Partner Program Companies for Unfair Trade Practices

  The Office of the Attorney General, at the request of the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection, is joining the Federal Trade Commission to file a Complaint and Consent Orders in U.S. District Court against TicketNetwork, Inc., a Connecticut-based ticket resale company, its wholly-owned subsidiary TicketSoftware, LLC, and two companies that are part of TicketNetwork's Partner Program, Ryadd, Inc. and SecureBoxOffice, LLC.

• State Joins Multistate Settlement with PointRoll to Resolve Internet Privacy Allegations

  Attorney General George Jepsen and state Department of Consumer Protection Commissioner William M. Rubenstein today announced that Connecticut has joined a $750,000 multistate settlement with digital advertising company PointRoll, Inc. that resolves an investigation into whether the company violated consumers' privacy by unlawfully circumventing the privacy settings in Apple Inc.'s Safari Web browser.

• Attorney General Jepsen: Deadline to File DRAM Settlement Claim is August 1

  Attorney General George Jepsen is encouraging consumers to file claims to recover money from the $310 million Dynamic Random Access Memory (DRAM) settlement before the quickly approaching August 1, 2014 deadline. Consumers can file claims to recover money due to the preliminary approval of multistate antitrust settlements with all the major manufacturers of DRAM for conspiring to fix their prices.

• Attorney General Jepsen Announces Initial Approval of $310 Million in Settlements to Benefit Purchasers of DRAM Memory Chips, Products

  Attorney General George Jepsen announced today that consumers can now file claims to recover money due to federal court preliminary approval of multistate antitrust settlements worth $310 million with all the major manufacturers of Dynamic Random Access Memory (DRAM) computer chips for conspiring to fix their prices.
